Leah Drury hails from Greensboro, Alabama where her family runs a catfish farm. She brings her unique talents to our community here and we are excited to have her as part of our team. The joy and compassion she brings to each soul she encounters is infectious and we count ourselves lucky to have her enthusiasm in our midst.

Leah graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a Master’s degree in Sport Management.

Leah’s expert background stems from a long career in coaching. She has been an Assistant Coach for both the University of Alabama Women’s basketball team and as the Assistant Coach of the WNBA’s Seattle Storm. She was also Head Coach of women’s basketball at Pensacola State College.

She has had the privilege of coaching 2 Olympic Gold Medalists and opened a gym in her hometown where her family has a catfish farm.  She is currently the owner, trainer and chief culture officer for Battle Republic, a unique boxing gym in Birmingham, Alabama. Her desire is that every individual who comes through the door is uplifted. Leah’s goal is to help every person be the best version of who they are and encourage and motivate that process through movement and play - and always some funky dance moves thrown in the mix. She believes each person should embrace being goofy, or quirky or serious or whatever, just be you, she says. Always be you.

Leah idea of a perfect Saturday is vibing to an awesome playlist and chillin’ near a body of water with family and friends.

Never let someone’s opinion prevent you from your purpose.
