Navigating Insurance Companies

We believe everyone should have the care they need, so we collaborate with clients and insurance providers to get the most coverage possible. We also coordinate with out-of-network insurance companies to obtain a single case agreement, if needed.

Because all insurance companies and plans vary coverage for the treatment of eating disorders, we cannot speculate what your specific plan offers. We can say that our staff at ACED works diligently to make treatment affordable and reasonable for each of our clients.

We also look forward to January 1, 2010, when the Wellstone-Domenici Mental Health Parity Act takes effect, requiring health-insurance companies to cover mental-health and substance-abuse disorders just as they do physical disorders. This affects everyone in Alabama, as well as the entire United States.
