4) What is a typical day like at ACED?

Clients have individual sessions scheduled throughout the week, most likely in midmorning. Regular programming follows with diverse groups planned each day of the week, including but not limited to: dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT), nutrition, body image and art therapy. Then it's time for lunch followed by "Primary Group," the core of our program during which the client community together processes individual client assignments and/or feelings and thoughts.

A variety of groups, such as weekend planning or contract group, and a snack break make up the late afternoon. Dinnertime is early evening, and a final group, including a weekly family group, ends the day.
