Lillian earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she graduated with honors. She previously worked with our founder, Renée Miller, in another eating-disorder treatment environment.

If Lillian could give one thing to clients at ACED, her gift would be hope. Yet, she offers much more. Lillian incorporates play-therapy techniques in her work with clients at the center. She’s a fantastic listener, a great encourager and a strong believer in humor.

“Life is too short and too hard to live without humor,” she says.

Lillian lived in Europe for 18 months, completed her first “and only” marathon at age 35 and won “Best Smile” in high school. “The competition was fierce,” she says.
