Program Administrator

<----back to bios

After many successful years in the healthcare and insurance industries, Randi brings to ACED her professional management skills and personal experience of her own recovery from an eating disorder.

She was assistant regional sales director of a major insurance company, managing more than 1,500 sales agents of a large insurance company. Randi also worked as utilization management coordinator for 12 county jails, where she directed healthcare for roughly 10,000 inmates.

She has received multiple accolades for her professional work. But Randi’s most touted trophies are those of “Best Mom” and “Best Wife,” which she received one Mother’s Day from her young daughter and husband, her high-school sweetheart.

When Randi became a mother, she made a “conscious choice to work on me and become a person my child could look up to.” That included winning a longtime fight with an eating disorder. Today, she has the “armor to keep it at bay.” Pieces of that armor are Randi’s family, which includes three dogs: a 100-pound American bulldog named Bama and two Shih-Tzus, Molly and Ernie.

After being struck by the car of a drunken driver when she was 5 years old, Randi strongly supports MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). She’s a basketball and softball coach, “Mega” Alabama football fanatic and fan of 1980s “big-hair” music.
