Natalie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Seattle Pacific University in Seattle, Washington, and is pursuing a Doctorate degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

She has been a fervent advocate for those struggling with eating disorders. While at Seattle Pacific, Natalie founded an on-campus body-image support group focused on eliminating the “ideal body type.” She volunteered for the National Eating Disorder Association Helpline and National Eating Disorder Awareness Week.

Natalie also participated in research projects regarding eating disorders. She was trained in Manualized Meal Support Therapy at the Children’s Hospital in Seattle.

After so many rainy days in Seattle, Natalie enjoys basking in the coastal sun with a good book. She loves clothes but hates to shop, and tries to appreciate the “little things in life.”

“I love how every person is unique in his or her own way, yet we find ways to connect that are remarkable,” she says.
